Ocmulgee Indigenous Celebration
September 14 - 15, 2024
The Ocmulgee Indigenous Celebration is more than an event – it's a unique opportunity to foster understanding, appreciation, and connections across cultures.
Engage with Southeastern Indigenous artists, historians, and experts who will be sharing their knowledge through educational demonstrations, music, dance and interactive exhibits.
Browse through indigenous vendors' artisanal goods or chow down on traditional food. The celebration is held at the Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park, a historical site with over 17,000 years of continuous human habitation recorded and known as the homelands of The Muscogee (Creek) Nation. The park is home to several historic indigenous mounds and has 8 miles of beautiful trails interlaced with lush forests and wetlands!
