Other types of patties (e.g. chicken, pork) are not permitted for this event. Vegetarian and dessert creations in the spirit of Burger Week may be accepted, but will be under the review and purview of the Georgia Beef Board. We can only accept the first 2-3 items that fall into these non-traditional categories, and your business will be contacted if we cannot accept your submission due to early interest or an overwhelming response.
3. Each restaurant must create a unique beef burger specifically for Macon Burger Week. This burger should not be a regular menu item. All Macon Burger Week burgers must be priced at $12. A $1 up-charge for take-out can be added. We encourage you to have add-ons and specials (i.e. pair with a house-brewed beer or fries) for an additional cost set at your discretion.
4. Participating restaurants will promote Macon Burger Week on their social media platforms and within their establishments. Be sure to use the official Macon Burger Week hashtag #MaconBurgerWeek and tag the Georgia Beef Board & Visit Macon in your posts. Promotional materials provided must be prominently displayed in the restaurant.
