Overview
McDonald's is the world's #1 fast-food restaurant, serving customers daily in 119 countries. Headquartered in the United States, the company began in 1940 as a barbecue restaurant operated by Richard and Maurice McDonald and later reorganized their business as a hamburger stand using production line principles. We now recognize the company as the home of the Golden Arches and it's famous slogan, "I'm Lovin' It". (The Zebulon Rd. store is located inside Wal-Mart on Zebulon Rd.)
