FALL LINE BREWING CO.
Fall Line Brewing Co. can be found in downtown Macon on Plum Street. You can expect a rotating list of craft beers such as their new seasonal brew, Limestruck. Beat the heat with their summer alcoholic slushies: Cherry Limeade and Lemonade Shandy! Looking to enjoy the weather? Their 600-square-foot beer garden can host your party with ease. They even have a movie screen that comes in handy on those big game days. Even if the weather is chilly, there is outdoor heating and a fire pit. Did we mention their delicious sandwiches and snacks? Try out the Brisket Sandwich or nibble on Knotty Pretzels that come in flavors such as honey mustard, chile lime, bacon cheddar, and hot wing. If you're not feeling the outdoors, feel free to dine indoors as they offer plenty of seating inside.
OCMULGEE BREWPUB
With a name inspired by Macon's Ocmuglee River, Ocmulgee Brewpub prides itself in serving the highest quality craft beer and food. It's bright and open air feel welcomes guests to sit down and enjoy a relaxing experience. Try out their mouth-watering burgers and hand cut fries. Wash them down with a tasty beer brewed in house by their brewmaster, Doug. From mainstays like their Float Daze Amber Ale and Muscogee Curse American IPA to their seasonal beers like the Slush Storm Winter Ale, there's something for everyone to enjoy. While you're there, be sure to look for the "Hidden Dougs" located throughout the restaurant. If you find all 10, you get a pint of beer on the house.
PIEDMONT BREWERY & KITCHEN
One of Middle Georgia's finest brewpubs offers up a modern smokehouse, inspired house-brewed craft beer, and a family-friendly classic game room. At Piedmont Brewery & Kitchen, don't expect your standard bar fare on the menu. This spot is not a traditional BBQ joint nor are they just another hamburger place. Piedmont's kitchen team creates unique twists on familiar items with interesting ingredients. You can expect their food to be just as memorable as the brews. Speaking of beers, the brewery has both familiar as well as cutting edge experimental styles with unique ingredients and the newest/freshest hop varieties. With twelve beers on tap, there is the flexibility to constantly experiment with new styles while continuing to produce community favorites like Satisfied Local Lager Beer and Sunshine Daydream Tropical IPA. Also, while you’re waiting for a table or just having a beer, be sure to check out the arcade down in the basement.
THE SOCIETY GARDEN
The Society Garden is located in Historic Ingleside Village. It's the perfect place to hang out with family and friends. Walk up to the outdoor bar and asked the friendly bartenders their recommendations for a beer or wine. Word of advice, try the wine slushies. They are incredible. Bring the kiddos and let them play in the sandbox or go down the slide. Their stage offers an intimate setting for a concert featuring different types of music from Folk, to Reggae, to Americana, and more.
BEARFOOT TAVERN
Located in the heart of Downtown Macon, Bearfoot Tavern is Macon's only gastropub and offers over 50 beers on tap, as well as signature cocktails and wine. Whether you're a fan of IPAs, Ambers, Pale Ales, or Goses, they're something for you. Stop by for dinner and pair your favorite drink with a delicious menu item like the brick oven pizza or Irish lamb stew. Enjoy your meal outside while listening to live music in the beer garden.
JUST TAP'D
While Just Tap'd isn't technically a brewery, it does offer 64 fresh, craft beer on tap. Their knowledgeable staff will help you pick the perfect beer. If you can't decide on just one, try a flight of 4. They also offer delicious artisan style pub food from bratwursts, to charcuterie boards, amazing pizzas and more.
