Advertising Co-Op

Visit Macon offers both free and paid advertising opportunities to help our industry partners maximize their exposure to potential travelers.

Digital Billboards

Visit Macon currently has two digital billboards available for co-op paid placement opportunities.

  • McDonough Southbound (left-facing) on I-75
  • Pooler Exit / Outside of Savannah Eastbound (right-facing) on I-16

Placements are reserved to event marketing. Events that drive room-nights and tourism MAY have opportunities at no cost when available.

Travel Writers & Influencers

Visit Macon works year-round to engage travel writers, press and social influencers that can drive brand awareness and influence visitation to Macon, Georgia. Becoming a partner means that we prioritize your business when creating itineraries and experiences for the writer's/influencer's audiences. To become a host, we ask for a financial contribution in the form of hotel rooms, food costs and attraction or events tickets from our partners. The more we can work together to host these individuals, the more Macon, Georgia and your business will benefit from the publicity.

Print Advertising

Print advertising can be costly to a small business. If your business is interested in a paid placement where cost could be shared with similar business partners or groupings, please reach out and Visit Macon can help find the right partners to achieve your goals! Visit Macon will contribute up to 15% of print advertising costs when created as a cooperative opportunity for our destination under the mission of our marketing strategy.

Travel Guide

Visit Macon produces an annual Travel Guide with a print production of more than 35,000 copies per year. Visitors request this free guide through our website, via ExploreGeorgia.org or through paid social media advertising under the Visit Macon marketing plan. Each request is mailed free of charge.

We also distribute the free guide to all State Tourism and State Park Visitor Centers and most city-based Visitors Center throughout the state of Georgia, as well as, via our Mobile Visitor Center at regional, state and community-based events. Visitor Guides are free to display at your business as well upon request.

The Travel Guide is also available digitally, here. The digital guide will also feature links to your website, social media and/or additional video content if available.
