Macon Mural Festival
Overview
Join Macon Arts Alliance for a fun and art filled weekend featuring beautiful murals throughout our downtown area. During this festival several muralists are placed with participating businesses to create works of art to further brand Macon as a vibrant, creative community. Explore downtown Macon and visit the artists as they craft there pieces to learn more about the themselves and the process.
Friday, September 12th – Muralists will begin painting, and you are invited to stroll around downtown to watch their creations come to life.
Saturday, September 13th – Artists will continue to work on their murals. That evening, the public is invited to meet the artists at our Mural Celebration Party. Details TBA.
Sunday, September 14th – Artists will complete their murals. It’s a great time to take another walk and see the finished work.
