Clint Black; Back on the Blacktop Tour
Overview
Coming off 2024’s sold-out 35 Years Of Killin’ Time World Tour, Country music legend Clint Black is back on the road across North America on the Back On The Blacktop tour in 2025. The new tour will celebrate Clint’s extensive catalog, featuring fan-favorite hits and new surprises. Clint is ready to bring his iconic blend of country, storytelling, and heartfelt performances to fans across North America.
Clint surged to superstardom as part of the fabled Class of '89, reaching #1 with five consecutive singles from his triple-platinum debut, Killin' Time. For its 35th anniversary, Black is performing his “Killin’ Time” album live from top to bottom for the first time. The set also includes many more of his legendary #1 hits. Clint followed Killin’ Time with the triple-platinum Put Yourself in My Shoes, and then a string of platinum and gold albums. Perhaps most impressive is that Clint wrote or co-wrote every one of his more than three dozen chart hits, including "A Better Man," "Where Are You Now," "When My Ship Comes In," "A Good Run of Bad Luck," "Summer's Comin’,” "Like the Rain" and "Nothin' But the Taillights," part of a catalog that produced 22 #1 singles and made him one of the most successful singer/songwriters of the modern era. Along the way, Clint has sold over 20 million records and had billions of streams, earned more than a dozen gold and platinum awards in the U.S. and Canada including a GRAMMY, landed nearly two dozen major awards and nominations, and stars on the Hollywood and Nashville Walk Of Fames. In 2023 Clint’ authentic lyricism and powerful musicianship earned him the ACM Honors Poets Award.
