Middle Georgia Regional Library
Overview
Due to a 1935 act approved by the General Assembly that authorized cooperative agreements between political subdivisions and existing municipal libraries, the two-county Middle Georgia Regional Library system was created on May 1, 1949. At its largest, the regional system contained seven counties. All of the libraries have extensive archival programs, general book rentals, video and audio rooms and more!
