Hotel Forty-Five
Overview
Discover a historical haven for locals and visitors alike at Hotel Forty Five, Downtown Macon’s only boutique hotel. Situated on the iconic 45-degree angle formed by Cherry and First Streets and Cotton Avenue, every corner of the Tribute Portfolio hotel tells a story of the area’s significance with a bit of wit, dash of class and a pop of color. Through engaging art, architecture and hospitality, guests navigate through illustrations of Macon’s past and learn about historical influences who made a significant impact in the city’s business and cultural communities. Key historic architectural elements, furnishes and finishes have been preserved and incorporated in various spaces throughout the hotel. Hotel Forty Five is home to three dining concepts: Loom, Hightales and Reckon Coffee & Wine Bar. Loom’s carefully crafted, locally sourced cuisine can be described as ‘Southern Revival’ with equal parts of tradition and innovation. Atop the sixth floor, Hightales Rooftop Bar is a play on highball cocktails and the larger-than-life tales of the city, while channeling Macon’s rich musical legacy and panoramic views of downtown. Reckon Coffee & Wine Bar showcases elements of the city’s landscape through its artistic displays inside, offering coffee and breakfast in the mornings and wine and small bites in the late afternoon.
