Overview
Grant's Lounge first opened its doors on February 16, 1971 and has been a staple on the music scene for nearly 5 decades. It’s existence made a loud statement, broke race and social barriers, and helped create much of what the world now knows as Southern Rock.
Deemed the Original Home of Southern Rock, this humble establishment in Macon, GA gave musical starts to giants like the Allman Brothers, Tom Petty, Eric Clapton, The Marshall Tucker Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Wet Willie, and countless others. Known for it’s “welcome all” vibe, upon entering the doors, you'll hear the perfect blend of R&B, Rock & Roll, Blues, Bluegrass, and Country.
