ABOUT: Join Historic Macon on a walk to explore the history of Macon through the lens of urban design and architecture while highlighting the preservation efforts of Macon's past, present, and future.
Details
This one-hour, easy-pace group walk meets on the third Tuesday of each month (March to June and September to December) at 6:00 PM. Each month, we’ll feature a guest guide and a special topic to discuss as we explore the streets of Macon.
Participants should be able to walk 3 miles non-stop. Wear appropriate fitness gear and bring water. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed.
Before each walk, we’ll do some light stretching as Bike Walk Macon’s Education Instructor shares pedestrian safety information and smart walking tips.
