Macon all the time, Dance occasionally
After hitting all the shops and rich restaurants in Macon, there's no better way to blow off some steam than dancing your way through downtown. Here are five spots for all the night owls who need something to scratch their jitterbug itch!
Late Nite
Boogie your way down to Martin Luther King Boulevard to dance the night away with a DJ and 18+ friends at Late Nite. This nightclub has something for everyone – with old school music for the after-dinner crowd and pop music for the "late nite" dancers.
The club is known for its theme nights, particularly "Latin Nite" with DJ Keké. Late Nite is ringing in Cherry Blossom Festival with "Day ja Groove," a 70s and 80s themed disco. You can also swing by to Late Nite's sister company, Tic Toc Room (18+), next door to grab a bite to eat until 2 a.m.!
JBA
Whether you're looking to bust a move, sink the 8-ball in billiards, or bring out your dart skills, JBA on Cherry Street has it all. This multi-room music venue and bar has a full array of drinks to go along with a stage that hosts a DJ and Bragg Jam events throughout the year. JBA prepares its drinks with fresh, house-made ingredients.
This 18+ venue is a melting pot for the community. Once you work up a sweat on the dance floor, check out their back patio for some fresh air!
570 Dueling Piano Bar
This piano bar will give you an experience like no other. Let the sounds of music professions dueling and playing off one another fill your ears as you sip on cocktails, or drop in on comedy night (16+). The venue houses performers in three apartments on the second floor to attract a variety of artists.
Make the experience you own! Jot down the songs that you want to dance to on a slip of paper and place them in a jar. They'll be selected -- raffle style -- and you can create new memories with your favorite songs, right here in Macon.
