Overview
Timeless, the fashion show is an exclusive annual production hosted by the Mercer University Fashion Club (MURunway) that hopes to invite the Macon community to experience a high-energy fusion of fashion and music. This year's showcase features seven distinct eras, beginning with the sophisticated silhouettes of the 1920s and 1930s, moving through the structured elegance of the 40s and 50s, the rebellious spirit of the 60s and 70s, and the bold aesthetics of the 80s. The journey continues through the nostalgic trends of the 90s and early 2000s, into the modern styles of 2010s to now, and finally offering a creative glimpse into the future of fashion.
Over the course of two hours, Mercer students aim to bring awareness to how music and fashion have evolved hand-in-hand to shape our culture. This event is a curated experience for Maconites as well, who appreciate artistic expression and want to enjoy an exclusive show by the fashion club on Mercer's campus.
