Come experience a relaxing and joyous Sunday gospel and soulful classic pop-up in Rosa Parks Square for Make Music Day Macon "Summer Breeze" under the sun. This is completely different from a typical music festival — Make Music is open to anyone who wants to take part!
Make Music day is a worldwide escape in entertainment syncopation celebrating good times in togetherness around the world. Launched in 1982 in France, Make Music is celebrated on the same day in more than 2,000 cities in dozens of countries around the world.
This is Macon's ninth year participating the annual celebration. Macon has received an Honorable recognition from Congressman Sanford Bishop, two Musicians Performance Trust Funds/MMD Grants, a Downtown Community Challenge Grant and more love through the years.
